Billy’s birthday margarita!
Zest 1 lime and 1 orange and set aside.
Mix in a shaker the following ingredients:
– 2 large limes squeezed
– 1 oz. Water
– 3 oz. Fresh squeezed orange juice (such as Tropicana, Minute Maid)
– 1 oz. Triple Sec
– 1 oz. Brandy
– 4 oz. Tequila 100% Agave
– 2 oz. Lime simple syrup (frozen limeade thawed)
– 1 pinch sea salt
Shake well with ice. Makes 2 – 3 drinks. Mix reserved orange and lime zest with lime, beer salt (Ralph’s brand), then run a cut lime over rim of glass. Roll the rim of glass in zest and salt mixture. Fill glass with ice and pour well shaken margarita into glass. Enjoy!
